Product Description

British lambswool is spun on the woollen spinning system, which includes natural oils in the fibre,so after knitting panels need washing to  optimise handle and stablity.Consequently we do emphasise that a trial panel needs to be knitted and washed first. Tension 8 is probably the ideal setting, and this should achieve after washing about 6.4 stitches per inch over 9.6 rows. The washing process should be about 35 degr. on first wash include detergent and softner ,some knitters even prefer a 2nd wash at a slightly lower temperature, again with  softner. What IS essential is the knitter does a trial square first. We wish to thank Higgi Designs of Cornwall for this information
